I've finished this top.  After I get it back from the quilter's I'll have some photos of the finished project to post.  It turned out okay.  I wasn't really impressed with the Thangles, but I guess they worked ok.  The points didn't really turn out as well as I'd hoped, I've done better work just being careful.  And I've now seen enough green and pink fabric for a lifetime.  (11/15/05)

This quilt is a project that I picked up while doing the East Central Illinois Fabric Shop Hop in July.  It requires the use of Thangles...see the blog for a rant about that. 

Anyway, here are couple of pictures of the blocks I've done so far:

yeah, they're the same colors...cheap camera.  Anyway, as you can see in each photo, the center block should be one piece of fabric, but instead of giving us a 6" square piece of material, they gave us a 3" strip and we have to piece everything.  Also note that the flying geese units are actually 2 half square triangles.  grrrrrrrr...this is definitely a shop hop I won't be doing next year.
